# Terms of Service

## **Introduction**

By accessing and using our platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Krowdfundr connects project creators (founders) with backers who wish to support innovative, women-led ventures. These Terms govern the use of Krowdfundr's services and website.

### **Definitions**

- **Backers**: Individuals or organizations that contribute funds to a campaign.
- **Project Creators**: Women-led entrepreneurs and creators seeking funding.
- **Campaigns**: Individual crowdfunding projects listed on the platform.

#### **User Responsibilities**

As a Project Creator, you are responsible for providing accurate, truthful information about yourself, business and/or project, to ensure integrity of your campaign information and use the backers funds appropriately. As a backer, you are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

#### **Prohibited Activities**

Users of Krowdfundr may not engage in fraudulent activities, misrepresent their projects, or illegally use others' intellectual property. Any violation may result in the removal of the campaign and/or legal action.

#### **Funding Process**

All funds pledged to campaigns will be processed by Krowdfundr. The funds will be disbursed to the Project Creator, minus Krowdfundr’s fees and additional transaction fees. Funds are nonrefundable and Krowdfundr is not liable for any lost funds.

#### **Intellectual Property**

Project Creators retain full ownership of their intellectual property, including project and campaign materials, descriptions, and other content submitted to Krowdfundr. Backers do not gain any intellectual property rights over the project or ownership of projects. 

#### **Dispute Resolution**

In the event of a dispute between a Backer and a Project Creator, Krowdfundr will offer dispute resolution services. If a resolution cannot be reached, users agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration.

#### **Termination of Account**

Krowdfundr reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts in the event of policy violations or fraudulent activity.

#### **Limitation of Liability**

## Krowdfundr is not responsible for the success or failure of any campaign, the quality of the project, or the fulfillment of promises made by the Project Creator.
